About

I fix small mechanical things, keep a notebook, and ride a bicycle more than is strictly reasonable. This site is where longer notes end up once they have been rewritten enough times to stop embarrassing me.

No schedule. When something is worth writing down properly, it appears here. When nothing is, this page sits unchanged for months, which is the honest state of most personal sites.

What is here

Repairs, mostly: cameras, a bicycle hub, the occasional kitchen appliance. Some notes on habits and tools, usually written after I have changed my mind about them. Nothing here is a recommendation for anyone else — it is a record of what worked once.

Contact

Email is best: hi@dd.cukee.xyz. I read everything and reply to most of it, slowly.

Colophon

Static HTML, a single stylesheet, no build step. Typeset in Georgia with a monospace for metadata. The site is served from a small machine that does nothing else.
